Indy Nets & Indy Metropolitan High School 2026 Guard Josh McGee checks in with JMBP on how his season is going this spring and summer.
JMBP: How has the season been going so far?
Josh McGee: The season has been going well for me, I feel myself getting better every time I play.
JMBP: What are the biggest events your team has played in?
Josh McGee: My team has played in the Bill Hensley Run n Slam in Ft Wayne. We have also played in various prep hoop sessions.
JMBP: How do you feel you are playing right now?
Josh McGee: I feel like I am playing pretty good and I’m getting a better sense of the game.
JMBP: What are the biggest improvements you see in your game this season verses last season?
Josh McGee: I think my biggest improvement has been my pace on the court. I can use my speed to my advantage but I also know when to slow the game down.
JMBP: You had some injuries, how are you recovering and adjusting?
Josh McGee: I am constantly stretching and giving myself a good amount of rest after I finish playing or working out. I have adjusted well and I feel like I’m getting better than the player I was before the injury.
JMBP: With the eval period approaching what do you want college coaches to see when they watch you play?
Josh McGee: I want college coaches to see a dawg that does all the things that they need. They will also see a playmaker that knows how to read the defense and set up their teammates. Coaches can also expect a player that can score at any given moment.
