JMBP talent evaluator Kelvin Scott Speaks with with University High School guard Max McComb to recap his recent visit to Marietta College.

JMBP: You recently visited Marietta College in Ohio. How was the visit?

Max McComb: My visit with Marietta College was very exiting. It was a great opportunity to get to interact more with the coaching staff as well as the players. I was also able to tour the rest of campus and get a look at the facility’s they use on a daily basis.

JMBP: I know they extended an offer for you to join their program. How did that feel?

Max McComb: With Marietta being my first offer, it made me good knowing that the coaching staff has confidence in me to be a contributing factor to their program. I am very appreciative for the opportunity. They are a great program.

JMBP: Did the coaches talk to you about how they see you in their program?

Max McComb: The coaching staff did mention that they see me playing PG because my length and size is an asset at my position. With that being said, they were very honest and up front about not giving any guarantees with minutes. It is a very gritty program and you have to work for everything.

JMBP: Do you have any other visits or camps coming up?

Max McComb: I have a heavy schedule, but I am excited for it. I am heading to Taylor on Sept 14th, Marion on Sept 15th, Bethel Sept 21st, and Huntington on the 28th. It is a lot but I am ready for it.
